Eco Creative Club April Designs

This is a blog hop so do not forget to look at the other designs for this month!

This is the second time I am in this monthly design team for  Echo Creative Club hosted by  Jeannie Dukic  and received one of her polymer clay  lovely Gin Blossoms pendants

I was thinking of something more feminine and not so ethnic this time
but I suppose what was waiting to be done was this.......
more feminine than last one but very tribal  for sure :)

I felt the need of something dangling  on the pendant  (Ginger blossom in mint-chocolate)    and decided to solder  a rustic bail from copper to glue on instead of drilling some more holes....turned out very nice and black in color with copper shiftings..

The closure is one very new shank  button matching the focal well with the floral style just out of the kiln
(made a bunch and I like them very much all diff patterns.)

and added many different lovely Czech glass beads in their new anscient looking style
pearls for femininity and bunches of faceted shimmering mint Czech glass...

The tassel is made from the same silk in shifting browns with some sparkle from "wired on"  Czech glass beads

I am afraid the pictures are not so good this time as those colors are hard to capture even though I think the light was rather nice  to me

my daughter Sara  with the Black foot Princess around her  neck
(changed picture here)

antique glass and bone beads

I  love those leaves that look like old leather from my special glaze :)
simple design with vintage Mary charm and a few faceted agate beads

and this garden bracelet  I actually made a year ago but has not decided for sure to let go ......;)

and a necklace with pendant in one of my favorite black clays / feather

Happy Easter or is it Christmas again ?

have to say it   IS  a typical Swedish Easter over here now on Friday

some Easter Bunnies from the kiln

It use to be summer weather and really nice for barbecue and such
or like this
 almost snow storm

So this Saturday  morning when I woke up
( had to stop trying post on blogger Friday as it did not work )
it looks like Christmas outside

my garden Buddha got a big white hat during the night

those Pansies will have to wait a while before moving  to the urns outside
they better stay in the garden room for some more days

Picture below was taken when snow started
now the ground is covered with about 5 inches of white coat

It is a great thing we can not  do anything about the weather
just like it as it is...

have a great holiday

Eco Creative Club design bead for April is here

Gin Blossom pendant in mint chocolate !

This is the second  time I participate in this event
and  got my new  beautiful bead some days ago..
not very different from the one I used in March as I do love those pendants
but the result will be totally different I hope :)

You can read more about the polymer clay artist who made this beautiful  bead  ,  Jeannie,  and this club  HERE

she wrote this about the Eco Creative club:
"What does the name, Echo Creative mean?  Echo is something you put out there and it comes back.  I put my beads out there and they come back in a creative design from you. "

Reveal day for this month is April 25
welcome back to see what I and all other participants made then !!

below a picture I did not show before of the necklace from my March design

I know I should not mix things in the posts but I just want to share a pendant that recently came out of the kiln and i am so in love with it
no no sale :)

Thank You for stopping by
and hope You can all enjoy the spring  (even if nights are really cold up here in Sweden)

Echo Creative Club March design reveal

This is a blog hop so do not forget to look at the other designs for this month!

A few weeks ago I signed up to be part of the Echo Creative Club hosted by  Jeannie Dukic  I choose  some of her lovely polymer clay beads and received one of these lovely Gin Blossoms pendants  a very special one with many holes as I felt it had to be made into something tribal

here is a picture also from the beautiful packing it arrived in

was not as easy as I thought to add some dangles on this beauty
but I acted  like most times at my bead table
not very much thinking....... let inspiration flow
just manifesting what was waiting to be done

so instead of the more classic ethnic long necklace I saw in my mind when I first got my eyes on this beautiful pendant it is a shorter  tribal one and very much a show stopper

some Turquoise beads
a crystal pointer
recycled glass
ancient glass and  lampwork beads
my handmade ceramic beads (one with a tribal face) and button
wood
bone
rhinestone rondelle
and of course some silk

some white leather in the dangles and some thicker antique brown in the clasp

Thank You Jeannie for letting me play along with Your beautiful beads !

Now take a tour and see what  all the Eco Creative Club designers this month made :
