WAHOOOHA got my SOUP and Im in LOVE

Yesterday I got a dispatch note  of a box  from Germany in the mail...I could guess it was my soup from my sweet partner Doris at Glaszwerg so I went to the post office in a hurry  :-)

Inside that big box was a lot of small pretty boxes filled with treasures for me
Thank You very much  DORIS !!
.. starting with some flowers and that gorgeous floral bead and leaf

It is really a perfect partner match as we  make beads but in a so different style  ..AND both like
d r a g o n s and  I make faces  Doris make Geishas ....here is one pretty girl and that big wheel bead Im so in love with in this gorgeous green summer feel soft colors...

And in that last  box I opened I found  h.i.m   I was actually hoping for a DRAGON and here he is ..with wings so I suppose he is kind of an ANGEL  tooo  :-)

Doris also sent a mix of matching  beads, leather and silk
next is a box of metal accent beads and charms and  clasps + brooch needle   all very pretty ...one drop is also for scent  if You add it to a lava bead inside ( gonna make something for myself with that one)

I also got lots of her handmade beads to go with the focals

It will be sooo much  fun to work with those beautiful beads and also a big challenge  :-)

As Doris got my soup the same day I can give You a peak of what I sent  too..

ceramic, stone, bone, seed, silk, linen, copper rather earthy tribal ...(dragon :-)
I am so excited to see what she makes out of that !!

Thank You very much for visiting

ABS October Challenge as simple as can be......

I did not post in a very long time
and I did not participate in any challenges ....
but it is time to return ...

And I made a very simple style necklace with art beads and leather for this months challenge !
All from nature..clay and leather  :-)

Simple.... actually because Im somtimes thinking jewelry is getting to complicated with all this mixed media out there...

focal I made myself  in ceramic
and the bigger beads are made by Nan Emmet at Spirited earth
smaller beads from blueberriebeads
and flower Raku fired beads by Dorcas at Wondrousstrange designs
deer skin is hand cut by a friend in US

And this is the art that inspired me
 I do love it !!

Owl on Gingko Branch (Scops Owl Under Crescent Moon) 1915

Ohara Koson

Woodblock Print on Paper

I did get a heart attack in August ( I could never have guessed... as Im not the type for that.. slim no high blood pressure or anything..  but stress is a dangerous thing and I have had plenty of that for many years)
Most problems I have now is with the ulcers from the meds they gave me at hospital
so Im still far from my  "normal" me..
lost over 14 pounds and was slim before
but Im slowly getting stronger and have been able to create a little...

Thank You for stopping by

Bead Hoarders Blog Hop reveal

Welcome to the Bead Hoarders Blog Hop !!
About 167  of us showing some things we do if we actually use the beads :-)

I want to thank Lori Anderson again for being such a great host for those hops and  opportunities to play along with other designers over the world !
Stay strong we need and love You !!

As usual I did not make the things I intended so some of the used stash is old and some new....

First out a pair of earrings with my handmade ceramic triangle beads with feathers  + Czech glass and linen ...copper wires. I have lots of my own beads hoarding in drawers and still want to use other designers beads too...

Necklace with amazing Quartz stone point and polymer art bead in front ( I did buy that art bead very long ago so no shop name sorry). Lots of silk ( I have so much silk to use !) and cords  small beads (Czech and pearls) sewn into the silk around the neck. Closes with another raw quartz at the side as a button. Czech beads are great to use every where!
here are  earrings to match the necklace with those spectacular raw Quartz points and vintage beads (sterling ear wires made by myself) Those quartz points are double or multi terminated so they have nice strong energies :-)
I have a lovely selection of vintage beads that need to be used

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Lots of earrings in this post ......

like those with Czech glass new style....hard to resist those beads on the fabulous pictures in the shops .......eeeeekkk

and this pair with gorgeous Swarovski faceted big guys and Titanium plated Quartz
+ handmade ox. copper wires with beads on
My stash of Swarovski beads is not small and I rarely use them those days as my jewelry is turning more and more tribal..

One more Talisman necklace, this one  with lots of goddies from Petra! I got a package Yesterday from her and just had to make something at once :-) Love her ceramic charms
added some Czech beads and Botswana agate ....can be worn long or wrapped like this!(good to use some of my horded chain too..this is a fantastic raw brass chain ..added some ox)

Those earrings have some more from her shop...lovely  wood looking shards ;-)  had to use them too...+ wooden beads and red lampwork. I have lots of nice lampwork in my drawers. Some made by my dear friends over seas !

Recently made earrings with lampwork and crystal points (have a thing for points at the moment  lol  You may have noticed )  my own 2 favo pairs at the moment

and finally.... a color-boost with silk and Jade for my daughter Lina, color and flower lover, who left Sweden for New Zealand a few weeks ago. Working as fire engineer constructing at the rebuilding of the town Christchurch. She left in beginning of Swedish summer and landed in darkest winter down under. (though I must say their winter is like our spring over here )
Those are not finished and I may make some more for the stack........

I was planning to make more jewelry  but am very busy with garden and house at the moment ...here some nice things I will use soon..
Scarab pendant from my friend Dorcas (making a necklace for men)  and a huge Basha bead....big hollow bead from Claire..... some  ancient roman glass ... and brass bells

I will soon start a HUGE destash sale  in my Etsy shop AngelWhisperer

I have a sale in my shops too right now !
If You visit You can use the coupon code
HORDERS   to get 25 %  off  :-)

I am not alone

.........many of my friends are
                   bead -hoarders  :-)

(who does not love pearls)

closing up on the reveal date for the  bead hoarders blog hop  on SATURDAY    June  20

Lori our host is not well at the moment so send her some healing thoughts !!
Maybe the date will be changed but I have not heard anything about that yet!!

(or stones)

I have not made much yet as overwhelmed by the garden and house (needs painting here and there) ....
But I think I will pick some favos from the stash to work with :-)

(who does not need bone)
Still some listings to do on Etsy and cleaning of the working space before  making the jewelry ...

( I think I lost a bit control over my stash when starting making those ceramic beads)  piling up !!

(Guess I need some cord to pull it all together ;-o)

Also there will be a sale when the blog hop is ON so keep an eye in my shops

much love
Birgitta
