What I sent to my BSBP partner and a little teaser

Here is what  I sent to my lovely and skilled partner  Jennifer WanBenschoten
First picture brownish colors........
my handmade cab and pendant , carved Jade, tiny ceramic beads, Agate, old handmade brown-striped beads, wood, recycled glass, Bauxite beads, hand-hammered chain and clasp in copper, some copper color silk that is not in this pic.. etc....



And second picture  blackish and blues - my ceramic  cabs and pendant, silk, ox. brass chain, matte finish Agate beads, Czech glass in black and picasso finish + copper finish , charm and bead in my black clay etc



Now it is only 5 days before the BIG first REVEAL of this Years  BSBP  party

I got my ingredients for the in BSBP 6

Now I have a bunch of amazing  ingredients to work with for the BSBP 6 
My partner Jennifer VanBenschoten     sent it to me and I got it in the mail yesterday
Lovely colors and lots of pretty beads and my head and soul started to give me ideas about what to make :)

the  pretty clasp that gives me a theme I do like and is nice for the summer :) and those shell beads are so pretty !



apart from the pretty stones and pearls I found those I think vintage lucite beads and some beads I never saw before  ( I thought I saw them all) ...looks like made of wood-fiber  ??

Finally I do have to show You an incredible artwork of my soup partner  who is a magician
with beads just have a look...!!!!

OOOOOOOOoooops about BSBP reveal date

.......well the reveal date  it is a bit of an  OOooops as I did not think about that the   27  July   I change my  internet service provider   and get a new  router  
and  the post must be up  28 July 
 unfortunately my experience of those changes is not very good..
My plan is to make it all ready before changing  internet and if problems occur post it from a friends computer...  :)

and now a picture of what I did  NOT sent to my lovely partner   Jennifer VanBenschoten   who is a skilled beader and addicted to jewelry making just like me :)




what I actually did send will show up when it arrives at the new home.....
and
I cant wait  to see what she sent ...... it will arrive any day now!

Alice in Wonderland challenge and blog hop



A Curious Design Challenge & Blog Hop

Thank You Staci for the chance of this event :) 

and Genea  ( who is having a gorgeous give-away!! )

 

To celebrate this I have a 40% sale in my supply shop  with code Alice

 

it is time to show You what came out of all my thinking about this challenge...

cause i have been thinking

and thinking

and trying

and crying  (well that is a rhyme  but it is not true)

waiting for a whim whilst whining for something whimsical

and so my ceramic trays and rabbits  just whirled  away while i whimpering tried  to 

come up with new ideas

The roses from Rebekah (Tree wing studio) I was going to use but my idea was to make a necklace with a tray and picture in ... a bit black/white vintage style like those original drawings I do love ..but I tried that idea in ceramic and polymer and did not like the result 

..so I had to rethink and came up with this bracelet ...roses ..very much from Alice in wonderland and colors red, blue and black..here more rustic browns and old looking copper from the chain I made myself with a  heart at the end...vintage feel ..and some feminine pearls in girly blue..



there are some Czech vintage style striped spacers and those two very old lentil copper beads (really vintage)  and my handmade ceramic  charm in diamonds shape ...






It actually looks good  on  and feels good to.....  lightweight and easy to wear









And as i longed for something girlish and more playful i came up with those earrings with handmade flower lampwork beads, blue lampwork with sterling silver inside, red polymer bicones and a few czech spacers...

I took a little tour in the garden to find something  nice for a picture and choose on of my favorite flowers...still in bloom and smelling gorgeously  ( have lots of those :) as it is very late spring over here this year


this guy took the chance of a tour in the garden as well as i forgot tho close the door to the garden room
was not planning to let him out just now as it is a little wet from a few raindrops..


and finally a  necklace finished not long ago with a flower  from the garden

Button Swap Blog Hop And a Give Away



First I want to thank  the talented  Cindy Wimmer  at    Sweet  Bead Studio
for hosting this button swap with so many partners to administrate !
I love buttons and this is so much fun! 
I cant wait to see what everybody is making this time.....

I also have a give away of a bunch of buttons in this post to celebrate 100+ followers on my blog !!

I started out with one big fantastic Vintage button to make some kind of necklace in the style Im working now ...lots of silk and ethnic feel ..but It is not working out as I was thinking .....so it is not finished yet...hm.......still not sure  about the neck part..and the dangle from the button ...just got stuck......   jiiikes;)





But I am  lucky to have lots of pretty buttons to choose from  and  decided to go for some earrings instead



I used 2 domed copper buttons with leaf patterns  hand  made by Pam ..they are heavily oxidated here ..
hand forged hammered copper rings
Indonesian handmade glass beads
( by the way * glass * means  ice cream in Swedish :)  glass is spelled glas  in Swedis with one s )
rhinestone rondelle beads
and some of those ancient looking new Czech glass beads
sterling silver ox. lever backs




And one more pair with those pretty vintage red flower buttons I fell in love with at once :)







had some nice tassels i really wanted to use

and voila  .....those look really great on ...but no pictures of that yet..







This morning I made a bracelet with one of those beautiful "stacked"  mother of pearl vintage buttons + some vintage shank buttons from my own stash
faceted Pyrite
and Czech glass
Going to make a couple of stretch bracelets to go with this one / stacking






still have a few  lovely buttons left and the gorgeous pendant  made by Pam 
and Im thinking about a necklace with the pendant and the 5$ buttons  and  other things as Im going to use it all   ..thinking...thinking.....:)
