TODAY is THE DAY BSBP........... The Big BANG.... Welcome !

Finally here :
The Day of the Biggest  Bead Soup Blog Party    EVER 
and it will turn into a BOOK  :)  all in the hands of    LORI ANDERSON
and 210  bead-lovers  (addicts:-)  all over the world   YAAAYYYYYY  (se map at the bottom of this post)
You can see all the beads I got from my partner Barbara ( who is very ill with high fever at the moment :( !  her post will be delayed -!in an earlier post  (Thank You Barbara!)

I had a lots of pretty beads to work with and the amazing flowers made by Barbara
So ofcourse i wanted to use this gorgeous flower ....was more of a challenge than I thought :)
but it turned out a statement necklace for party dressing

I used lots of freshwater pearls and Czech glass here and my hand-antiqued brass chain
at the neck part the gorgeous hand dyed silk grunge ribbon i stocked up from Mary not Martha on Etsy


a bunch of flowers and crystal at the side here and a wonderful big wood bead from Barbara

Necklace is sold :)

next is a pair of brass party earrings  with turquoise beads and crystals  (I WILL MAKE BRACELETS ALSO BUT THEY ARE STILL IN MY HEAD ONLY)

  40. THIS necklace is hands down my favorite design I have see yet in the soup. I absolutely 100% love the necklace and earrings. The asymmetry, czech flowers, stands of gorgeous beads, large handmade flower, fiber closure... I LOVE IT ALL! I would wear this necklace in a heartbeat. Great soup, great blog, I will be checking in often. So glad the BSP is leading me to artists I LOVE!!!

  69. Even though that flower is drop dead gorgeous, I would have struggled using it. You did a smashing job and the entire effect is stunning. I would wear it with jeans and a white 3/4 length sleeve shirt picking the kid up from school. Why hide it except for a party?
